In in our case we had the benefit of seeing the exceptional quality of their work on our doorstep and so our expectations were high and subsequently even exceeded. The team Glen, Chris and Lee were all courteous, respectful, responsive, communicative, skilful in their work and also left the room they worked in spotless. They even went the extra mile removing ugly dysfunctional secondary double glazing and made good the surrounding damage and left us with beautiful sturdy replacement wooden sashes and casements, preserving and refurbishing the original frame. Bought a wonderful house which still had the old Victorian style single pane sash windows. Windows looked nice but the house was freezing cold in the winter, windows used to rattle as if there was a hurricane outside and don’t even get me started about the morning condensation. Everything has its day so if you find yourself in a similar situation and don’t really want to go down the PVC replacement option, consider modern double glazed wooden sash windows. Absolutely delighted with my new wooden sash double glazed windows! Glen and his team offered an extremely efficient, professional and friendly service from the initial meeting through to completion. They were prompt, worked very effectively with a notable care to cover and protect surrounding areas, leaving no mess at the end of each day. A mention also to the accommodating nature of Glen when I couldn’t decide on the colour and finish of the locks and pulls. He went over and above what was expected ordering various finishes until I was satisfied and smiled throughout. Glen and the crew are top notch. Professional, friendly and honest. They made lovely quality sash windows for our period property in Benton made from Scandanavian redwood. I visited their factory in a Cramlington where they have experienced joiners putting together top quality windows. A joy to see such great local workmanship.
